Rishab Chakraborty is a 17-year-old decentralized finance (DeFi) and finance enthusiast. He aims to leverage DeFi to make finance more transparent, inclusive and efficient. He regularly writes about financial assets and emerging technologies on his personal blog with over 10,000 views. He’s been a participant for the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School’s High School Investment Competition and is the youngest member of the Economic Club of Canada. He is passionate about DeFi and has technical and non-technical know-how with Ethereum’s decentralized finance ecosystem. He’s been involved in the crypto space since he was 13 when he began mining cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum and began exploring blockchain development. Previously, he had the privilege of working with organizations such as Sidewalk Labs in Toronto, Kidogo in East Africa and the Open Application Network. Apart from finance, Rishab enjoys playing his classical tunes on the guitar as well as running and biking outdoors.
